Thank you and enjoy!
Thank you, Kitehorse, for this nice prompt. I didn't think of the vernal equinox when writing this. I did think of the first day of spring earlier in the week.
ReplyDeleteInstead then, I wrote of what I did think of.
..
Great prompt all though it was very personal for me.
ReplyDeleteA video today.
ReplyDeleteThanks, KiteHorse! Look forward to your offering for this prompt you birthed...
ReplyDeleteI went 'lite' for this one!
Great prompt! Appropriate but not predictable... and I had a h*ll of a time meeting the challenge LOL.
ReplyDeleteOh well, I gave it a go, and now can't wait to see what everyone else writes, and just want to wish all of you a very Happy Spring!
Everyone's contributions are so creative. Frankly when I saw the prompt today, my heart sank. I said, "Who in the world came up with this *equals* thing, I don't like it at all". Then I saw that it was my suggestion - and boy was my face red. So then I did a haiku in a sort of trance of childhood memories viewed through adult eyes. Levittown's little boxes, all the same - and other suburban cookie-cutter developments - were actually halcyon places.
ReplyDeleteSorry I hit the enter button on PC instead of backspace. The second BD is my poem
