Call for Prompts

Regular Participants:

Please supply One Single Impression with new prompts for the autumn!

If you make a suggestion, please be willing to share your poem and image with this blog so we can post it here.  Just send it along a few days before your scheduled Sunday, and we'll take care of it.  (We will not link prompt suggestions to blogs whose authors do not provide us with poems.  No exceptions.)

Thanks for stopping here.

  1. I can't figure out how to link up before Sundays, so I'll just send this idea: there are certain words that contain seasonal connotations in Japanese poetry, particularly haiku.....These words are called 'kigo' and here are some examples that symbolize autumn: crickets, insects, peaches, apples, persimmons, scarecrow, leaves (colored), harvest....There are more on Wikipedia, look up 'kigo'......hope this inspires...
