Prompt 247: Marriage

Thanks to Loco Mente of Locomente for this week's prompt, marriage.  Here is her poem:

The knots of trust and faith
The knots of love and belongingness
I blushed and we exchanged rings
The rings of joy and robustness
The rings of passion and laughter
I smiled and looked into his eyes
The eyes of the man I trust
The eyes of my soul mate
I closed my eyes and prayed
The prayers were for his well being
The prayers were for our togetherness
I looked around and saw people
The people whom I love and care
The people who form a part of identity

Prompt 245: Nature

Thanks to Leo of I Rhyme without Reason for this week's prompt, nature.  Here is his poem.

everywhere around me,
there is inspiration to write.
drops of November rain,
kissing young green leaves,
slipping into the red lips
of a rose about to blossom;
a lone ray of warm sunlight,
escaping the black clouds;
showing me there is hope,
even when gloom shrouds.
the cold biting gust of wind,
its breath on my windows,
the warm coo of the pigeon,
from the ceiling's shadows.
Nature's joys everywhere,
it does surround our lives,
in Her arms, I am a child,
and my imagination thrives.
